In early July, NeighborSpace partnered with the Graystone Community Association to host a movie night at Graystone Community Open Space. Working with Kerri Lastner, Graystone Community Association member and longtime NeighborSpace stewardship partner, NeighborSpace was able to assist in getting the word out and helping provide all the popcorn and snacks you could want on a warm summer evening!
Amidst a week of stormy weather, Graystone hit the sweet spot – the skies cooperated, remaining clear for the showing. And as dusk rolled in, the neighborhood turned out! We had a great turnout of community association members and neighborhood families, ready to enjoy the outdoor movie night. We received some great feedback from this event, and plan to host more movie nights at NeighborSpace sites in the future.
