Hello Friends of NeighborSpace of Baltimore County,
I am excited to join the NeighborSpace team as the Community Engagement & Volunteer Coordinator. I am passionate about NeighborSpace’s mission to conserve and improve land and to increase community access to green spaces.
My previous experience includes teaching middle and high school environmental science and working for a community-based youth mentoring program. Additionally, I have volunteered with environmental nonprofits in the Chicago area where I did restoration work and volunteered as a naturalist.
Originally from the Midwest, I earned a BA in Sociology from the College of St. Scholastica and a Masters in Education from the University of Chicago. My family and I moved to Baltimore City in 2021 and enjoy tending to our tiny urban forest and garden, reading, playing board games, and exploring nearby parks together.
